Some of you may know that when I laugh really hard, I cry. By five minutes into John Oliver’s set, I had washed all of my makeup off with my own tears. By half an hour in, I ran out of tears and had what felt like a small hernia. I was in the third row, and I think I caught a brief look of concern on his face. My head hurts, and this British dork might be one of the most talented comics out there right now.
